Hello all I was the one that did the conversion. Worked great. But I was in an accident. I have sold the conversion package to a forum member in club BTY my C36 made about HP. Also dont not covert your w car with a manual from a E or any older mercedes you will have lots of trouble, with shift linkage and other misc. parts. It's not a % simple swap. Aside from the obvious - gearbox, pedal box, prop (?) etc there is the issue of ECUs and wiring. I know of a guy (who is now a member on here too) who has a E converted with a M C36 engine and manual gearbox - the gearbox and associated electronics were the biggest headache of all AFAIK. This part is about finally fitting the manual transmission on the Mk (E55/CLS55) engine. Had to make a bell housing adapter to match the bolt patterns. Th.
